Bullet journals are a great way to express your creativity while also creating a journal that’s perfect for you. I loved learning about bullet journals spreads and ideas and how they also play a big part in mindfulness. Creating a bullet journal is a bit like coloring therapy. You’re there, spending time on a creative task with your focus solely on that. It’s really therapeutic. But bullet journals aren’t just your typical journal. Weekly Self Care Checklist/Tracker
The first of the self care bullet journal spreads is the weekly self care checklist/tracker. A checklist has so many benefits.
First things first, it reminds us to stop and take care of ourselves! When you’re trying to balance everyday life and self care, our self care is usually the first one to fall to the side. Self care journal ideas that have checklists are the ultimate way to make sure we stay on top of our self care habits and remember to follow through.
I know that if I don’t have some sort of reminder I often forget to take all my vitamins or even start some of the habits I wanted to (damn apple cider morning habit will happen eventually!).
The second best part about any bullet journal setup with a checklist is the ticking off. There’s no feeling like ticking something off your list! I know I love it. So not only have we remembered to stop and take care of ourselves, but we also get the satisfaction of list ticking!
Self Care Ideas List
Self care bullet journal spreads that are just lists can be really valuable. It’s a place you can go back to every time you’re having a rough day to give you ideas on how to cheer yourself up!
Create A Weekly Self Care To-Do List
When I was searching for bullet journal ideas, I came across this beautifully organized spread. Then I saw that it had a little self care to do list.
Adding a weekly self care to do list is a great idea for self care bullet journal spreads.
We’re so busy creating lists to do so many things that I never even though about a self care to do list! This was one of the self care journal ideas that I really loved. Obviously we can change it every week to add the little self activities we want/need to do (i.e. like dying your hair!).

A great spread to add to the beginning of your bullet journal setup is a list of personal rules!
When I think of personal rules I think of the Four Agreements. That’s a great book to get strong values from.
Otherwise, it’s always great to create rules or even a set of intentions for yourself.
Another lovely idea for self care bullet journal spreads is to create a quotes or inspiration page for yourself.
It’s a great way to stay motivated and inspired. It’s also a really fun spread to put together.
If you prefer to keep it simple you can dedicate one whole page to your favourite quote and do this throughout your bullet journal.
